HR Mentoring Program FAQs

What are the program dates?

Signups are now open until the end of December 2024. Matching takes place in January 2025, with the program kicking off in February and wrapping up at the end of July 2025.

Who can sign up?
Mentees: Anyone working in HR / L&D / OD who wants to invest in their development and career.
 
Mentors: Anyone working in HR / L&D / OD with at least 5 years of experience.
How does it work?

Simply sign up and you will be matched with a mentor or mentee. Over six months, you will have six one-hour sessions together, facilitated by the Brancher mentoring platform. 

There is a virtual half-way check in and virtual wrap party at the end of the program. During the program, you will also get support and access to resources through the humaneer app.

What is the time commitment?
We estimate a time commitment of 2 hours per month. This includes an hour of meeting with your mentoring partner (this can be done virtually) and an additional hour of 'self-work' including preparing for the meeting and conducting follow-up actions.
Who will I be matched with?

Brancher’s matching algorithm takes into account your career stage, goals, skills, expertise and location preferences. It is the only mentoring platform in the world to also match based on personality and values – ensuring a much higher rate of compatibility.

Will everyone be matched?

We aim to match everyone, but unfortunately, there may be some people we don’t find a strong match for within this program. If that’s the case, we’d still love to have you join our online community and other events.

What can I work on with my mentor?
That is entirely up to you! The Brancher platform has suggested agendas and conversations to help get you started, but you are free to use your time with your mentor to discuss your individual challenges and goals.
