Will our data be secure?

Brancher recognises that privacy and cyber security is very important our clients and we are committed to protecting all forms of data and information through strict security protocols and robust security architecture.

How do we host/store the data?

We host and store all data within an AWS Sydney based data-warehouse. All data is only accessible behind secured APIs within a cloud based virtual private network (AWS VPC).

What happens to the data after people finish in the program?

We store all data securely on our online encrypted database unless the specific user requests that their data is deleted. If the organisation renews the mentoring contract the following year, the data will be retained so that mentees and mentors can apply for next year’s program and the majority of their application form questions will be automatically populated. If any organisation does not renew the contract, the data is de-identified but kept for research purposes. To ensure we can provide personal data to an individual (or delete it upon request), the data is re-identifiable by Brancher.

What happens to the data of unsuccessful mentees and mentors?

Their data is de-identified and stored for research purposes.

How can Brancher be tailored for our branding?

We can white-label the platform to your custom organisational subdomain as well as add your logo.

Can I use it on tablets and mobile phones?

Yes, the Brancher platform for mentees and mentors is completely mobile responsive. The admin portal (for the mentoring coordinator) can also be used on mobile however we recommend accessing it via Desktop for an optimal experience.

What is the difference between Brancher and other mentoring software providers?

Brancher is the only mentoring software provider to take personality and values into account when matching, despite this being one of the biggest predictors of matching outcome success.

What implementation resources do you provide?

We will support you every step of the way. That includes providing you with several key resources to help implementing Brancher including but not limited to:

  • Program launch implementation /project management plan

  • Facilitation of a 2 hour Discovery & Design Workshop

  • Communications plan

  • Welcome video script (if your sponsor wanted to film a short launch video)

What’s involved in the implementation process?

  1. Execute the contract.

  2. 2 hour Mentoring Discovery and Design Workshop.

    Brancher will facilitate this workshop with your key stakeholders to plan the mentoring program end-to-end. In this workshop we’ll cover things like scope, objectives, roles and responsibilities, program length, eligibility and matching requirements, success measures and implementation timeline. The goal is at the end of this workshop, both you and Brancher feel confident that you’ve got everything you need for a successful launch.

  3. Customisation.

    Brancher will then customise the mentoring platform as per your requirements.

  4. Launch your comms.

    Utilise our communications plan to launch the program and encourage your users to sign up as a mentee or mentor. Brancher will facilitate a launch webinar (45 minutes) to help create excitement and awareness.

  5. Matching.

    If you’ve opted in for user matching, users will be introduced to one another and kick off their relationship. If you’ve opted in for admin matching, you’ll be presented with a list of recommended matches for your approval, based on our science-based algorithm.

  6. Engage, sustain and measure success.

    Brancher takes care of everything else including the launch of bite-sized training modules, sending smart nudges to participants to maintain program engagement, and measuring success. You can let the program do its thing or jump into the admin portal whenever you want to analyse and take action. Brancher’s team will continue to meet with you every 4 - 6 weeks to review program outcomes and ensure your mentees/mentors are supported.

How long does it take to implement Brancher?

We recommend 4 weeks from when we sign the contract to when we launch the expressions of interest sign up form for the mentoring program. You will be assigned an implementation manager who will support you to launch the program. We will work with you to ensure you are comfortable with the speed at which the software is implemented.

What does the post-implementation support look like?

Brancher will provide a gold level of program management support to all clients to ensure they are making the most of the platform and running an effective mentoring program. This includes:

  • Brancher will respond to all user enquiries within 48 hours

  • Brancher will assign you an implementation manager who will meet with you weekly during implementation

  • Brancher’s team will then meet with you every 4 - 6 weeks to review program outcomes and ensure users are making the most of the mentoring opportunity

  • Brancher’s team will also conduct 6 monthly business reviews

  • You will have access to an admin portal to track success 24/7

Can you help with gaining executive approach?

Yes absolutely. Our most successful customers do a great job of involving executives before launching a new mentoring program. This enables buy-in and support. We can help you:

  • Discuss how to go about gathering feedback and information from your mentoring population to determine their mentoring needs

  • We can share learnings from our customer base as to how to pitch the new mentoring approach. Where appropriate we can put you in touch with one of our customers.

  • We can present to a board/executive meeting to attain final sign-off and ensure the leadership is confident in the new approach with Brancher.
