The Brancher team recently held some Customer Roundtable discussions with industry mentoring experts across various organisations to understand how they are creating a culture of mentoring within their agency, using the Brancher mentoring software. This paper distils the key insights from the discussions, offering actionable strategies that can be applied across diverse organisational contexts.

In today’s rapidly evolving workplace, mentorship programs are becoming a must have” not a “nice to have” for organisations that are looking to attract and retain top talent. Mentoring programs are proven to increase employee engagement and retention, leadership growth, knowledge sharing and organisational performance.

Traditional mentoring programs are administrative-intensive, difficult to measure success, and hard to scale. With the help of technology, effective mentoring programs are streamlined and scalable - meaning all employees can reap the benefits.

The focus of the discussion centred on several critical factors that contribute to successful mentorship programs, including executive leadership support, strategic communication, science-driven matching, data-backed decision-making, and strategies for reducing power imbalances in mentorship relationships.
